Our VISION & Mission
WHAT WE WISH TO ACHIEVE
Domestic violence in Australia affects many members of society and most people will have encountered it at some point in their lives; either through personal experience, social and business connections or through mainstream media. Domestic violence (DV) in western society has been influenced immeasurably by feminist theory and this theory has impacted the wider perceptions of intimate partner violence (IPV). It has clearly labelled the crime as being of a gendered nature, despite irrefutable evidence to the contrary.
Here at DVAA we wish to educate the community about domestic violence without the feminist biased narrative in order to achieve the following.
DVAA exists to change the biased narrative towards domestic violence in our community, in order to achieve a safer home for all.
PROTECT CHILDREN
DVAA is devoted to destroying the false narrative on behalf of the forgotten victims, both men and children.
The current narrative ignores potentially violent women, exposing children to further neglect and abuse.
EDUCATE THE COMMUNITY
DVAA is dedicated to educating the community on scientifically proven causes and contributing factors leading to domestic violence and offer un-manipulated statistics from reliable government sources.
